Since August 2019, the nettekieler Ehrenamtsbüro has been the Digitale Nachbarschaft Meeting Point (DiNa-Treff). With the Digitale Nachbarschaft (DiNa) project, Deutschland sicher im Netz (DsiN) e.V. sensitises associations, initiatives and voluntarily engaged citizens to the opportunities of the internet and how to use it safely. The topics come directly from voluntary work: What should I include in the imprint of my association's homepage? What do I have to consider when posting photos of the summer festival on social media channels? How can I communicate with my members in a data-saving way? What do I have to consider when fundraising online? These and many other questions are addressed by DiNa's online and offline services.

In order to provide as many interested people as possible with training on how to use the internet competently, the nettekieler Ehrenamtsbüro, in cooperation with the association Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V., is offering two more free workshops this year, in which external speakers will provide information about current topics on digitalisation in civic engagement.

  • Wednesday, 29.09.2021, 17 - 19 h, Topic: Digital Transformation: Understand, Decide, Implement
In this two-hour online seminar, we will address the question of how digital transformation can succeed in civil society organisations. With the help of practical orientation questions, we will provide you with a guide that you can use to make your organisation fit for digitalisation.
  • Wednesday, 10.11.2021, 16 - 19 h, Topic: Homepage: Secure design, organisation and maintenance
In this workshop you will learn everything important about the association website. You will learn how to maintain your website and what you need to consider when it comes to data protection.

The workshop on 29 September will take place as an online seminar, the workshop on 10 November is planned as a face-to-face workshop.

As the number of participants for the events is limited, the nette-kieler volunteer office asks for binding registration at michael.schoettke(at)nette-kieler.de or 0431-9015506.

As things stand at present, further workshops are to take place next year. The nettekieler Ehrenamtsbüro will provide information about the dates in good time.

In addition, the website https://www.digitale-nachbarschaft.de/ offers a wide range of information - both online and offline. Among other things, you can order free manuals and tips on the individual topics and deepen your knowledge in learning videos.
