Would you like to get involved? As the central contact point for civic engagement in the state capital Kiel, we are happy to be your partner.
We advise and mediate in all areas of society, across generations and free of charge. We plan and support projects, offer training and organise events to promote civic engagement. We cooperate with organisations, associations, initiatives, church communities and other institutions that are committed to the common good and work with volunteers. We initiate and support local and regional networks to promote civic engagement.
You too can get involved in a vibrant Kiel city society!
We look forward to hearing from you!
Kiel is a committed city. In the state capital, so many committed people hold volunteer positions that Kiel has also been officially included in the nationwide network program "Engagierte Stadt" (Committed City).
The state capital Kiel is thanking all these committed people with a cinema spot. In 60 seconds, volunteers show how they volunteer and how the rhythm of volunteering shapes them.
Kiel's cultural award winner Moritz Boll created the spot on behalf of the press department of the state capital Kiel.
The short film with the big thank-you can also be seen in the social media of the state capital Kiel and on kiel.de at www.kiel.de/engagement.
From July 25, 2022 up to and including August 12, 2022, the nettekieler Ehrenamtsbüro, Andreas-Gayk-Str. 31, 24103 Kiel, will close all services for clients. During these three weeks, there will be no counseling sessions for people interested in volunteering, no Senior*innen-Pass or KielPass issues.
During this time, the nettekieler Ehrenamtsbüro must switch to a new database system. This requires extensive technical adjustments and internal training of the employees, so that a smooth opening of all services cannot be guaranteed.
The nettekieler Ehrenamtsbüro asks for your understanding and wishes all customers, interested parties and visitors a good summer. From August 15, 2022, the team will be back for its customers.
